Equipped for Any Opportunity

North America - Equipped Salt & Light Process™ Participant

One evening at a youth outreach where I volunteer, I had the opportunity to talk at length with one of the teenagers. As we talked, I discovered that although she wasn’t a believer, she was curious about faith. During our conversation, I was able to share a 5 Point Gospel presentation with her.

She was intrigued but still wrestled with a few barriers. Through the Salt & Light Process™ Witness Training, I learned that people often encounter three major barriers to faith: Emotional, Intellectual, and Volitional. With this in mind, we spent some time thoughtfully discussing the meaning and implications of the Gospel.

After a little while, her heart was visibly moved, and she chose to pray and receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

As I reflect on this experience, I’m deeply grateful for how the eight tools I learned through the Salt & Light™ Witness Training equipped me to recognize barriers, respond wisely, and be prepared for any witnessing opportunity the Lord may place before me
