PURITY
Because the Beatitudes are reshaping my heart, Jesus now invites me to pursue a deeper purity—not just in my actions, but in my desires.
You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:27–28 NIV
The world says, “As long as you don’t cross the line, you’re fine.” But Jesus knows the heart is where sin starts—or where grace can take root. Lust devalues others and darkens the soul.
Purity, on the other hand, restores honor, dignity, and clarity. Jesus isn’t scolding me—He’s freeing me.
He’s not just guarding my marriage—He’s guarding the sacredness of my heart. Being salt and light means choosing a better way in a world that constantly sells cheap love and temporary pleasure. It means turning my eyes—and my heart—toward what is good, true, and lovely. And it means being willing to walk away from anything that dims the light of Christ in me.
What if... purity became not just about what I avoid, but about what I treasure? What if my daily choices pointed to a deeper, more beautiful love? That’s the kind of wholeness Jesus offers.
Let’s pursue it—together.
Sharing the journey with you,
