Devoted or Lukewarm?

But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. Revelation 3:16 NLT

To be lukewarm is a serious situation. In fact, God would rather spit me out and have my heart grow cold to Him than be tepid in faith. Being lukewarm is not an option for me… so, what is the alternative?

Believers in the early church were not lukewarm. They were devoted.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer. Acts 2:42 NLT

Motivated by our deep love for Jesus, will you join me in devotion to Him?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
