Some Things Don’t Belong to Me

I enjoy a wide array of reading, usually picking up “bits and pieces” of information along the way. No matter how much I read, however, I could never be a candidate for Jeopardy, a popular TV quiz show in the United States featuring facts on many subjects.

“Knowing it all" has had much allure for me. As I study the Bible, however, I realize that I cannot “know it all”. There is much mystery this side of heaven. At times, I have found the intellectual exercise of searching the mysteries of God’s Word more intriguing than living out the truth and instructions God has already revealed.
The LORD our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions. Deuteronomy 29:29 NLT

Will you join me this week in pursuing and obeying Gods’ revealed truth? Why? Because we will be held accountable.

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
