The Door of Death

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 NIV

I have been thinking about death lately. During my time in emergency medicine, I grieved the loss of strangers. Now, I grieve the pending death of family and friends. My time is coming, too. Can I face this inevitability with hope? I believe so.

In Christ, death is not a morbid end, but a door that swings open into eternal life.

Will you join me in joyous anticipation for an eternity of bliss?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
