Prudence

Prudence is a fountain of life to the prudent, but folly brings punishment to fools. Proverbs 16:22 NIV

Sometimes I feel like a fool—acting and reacting in ways I later regret. The result? Fear, shame, and relational pain. I would like to avoid foolishness, but how? The wise author of Proverbs suggests that the answer is prudence.

A prudent person thinks carefully about their choices and experiences a fountain of life. A fool does whatever they want and receives punishment. Of the two, I would rather be prudent and live.

Will you join me in walking the path with prudence? A fountain of life awaits.

Sharing the journey with you,
