Overflow

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NLT

How can my life overflow with confident hope? By trusting in God and spending time with Him. When I spend time with God who is the source of hope, He fills my heart with joy and peace. Trusting that God can do this in even a broken person like me allows me the confidence to be hopeful.

On my own, none of this is possible. But with the help of the Holy Spirit, which God promises to me, I can overflow with confident hope.
