God-Given Riches

I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way… 1 Corinthians 1:4-5 NIV 

I sometimes imagine being rich. Expensive homes, dream cars, outlandish vacations—it all can seem so good. However, these riches are temporary treasures. God offers me spiritual riches, which are better in every way. Because of His grace, God promises to: 

  • Give me God-enriched speech and knowledge (1 Corinthians 1:5) 

  • Keep me firm to the end (1 Corinthians 1:8) 

  • Make me blameless on the day of judgment (1 Corinthians 1:8) 

  • Unite me in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord! (1 Corinthians 1:9) 

Wow! I am rich indeed!! Will you join me this week and accepting the great gifts of God’s riches?
