For Such a Time as This

The present pandemic has temporarily changed our world. People seem to be experiencing many ranges of anxiety and fear. Yet I have to ask myself, “What is my foundation and response as a believer in Jesus?”

I am reminded Jesus called the Holy Spirit, The Comforter. When I let go of feelings, I can take advantage of the amazing resources he offers my heart and soul.

I can be:
•   Faithful rather than fearful
•   Peaceful rather than panicked
•   Purposeful rather than paralyzed

Could living in faith, with peace and with purpose in the midst of these circumstances be an opportunity for others to see our life in Christ and for us to tell about life in Christ? Mordecai spoke these words to Esther who, at great risk, could save the Israelite nation:
Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time
as this
?
Esther 4:14 NLT

Will you join me this week in viewing this pandemic as an opportunity?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
