Growing in Child-Likeness: Devoted to Family

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love, give preference to one another in honor. Romans 12:10 NASB

From an early age, love and honor for family was inculcated into my life. My parents made certain I recognized the importance of our nuclear and extended family. Certainly, this is a good thing.

They also taught me the importance of my "adopted, eternal" family. Jesus redefined family.

For whoever does the will of my Father who is in Heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother. Matthew 12:50 NASB

Scripture says that loving and attending to the family of God is a priority. It is how we will be known to the world as followers of Jesus.

Join me this week in sharing our love for God as we love our brothers and sisters.

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
