Because of the Resurrection

The apostle Paul says,

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.  I Corinthians 15:58 NIV

The “therefore” refers to the fact that my death is swallowed up in victory by Christ’s death and resurrection. Because of this amazing gift of God, nothing I do, living in obedience to Him, will be in vain. Join me in “giving ourselves to the work of the Lord” and remembering together that even on the bad days, “it is not in vain.”
