IHS Global Celebrating 30 Years of Ministry

IHS Global® is celebrating 30 years of God’s faithfulness!

In 1996, God called Bob and Pam Snyder to Budapest, Hungary with a vision of impacting the Hungarian healthcare system for Jesus. Bob left his emergency medicine practice and with Pam and their three daughters created a new home in Hungary.  

In Budapest, Bob met Jenö Barátossy, who had been praying for 20 years for someone to lead the way in sharing Jesus within Hungary’s healthcare system! Their mentoring friendship became the foundation of what would grow into IHS Global®, equipping Christian healthcare workers to share the love and reality of Jesus at bedsides and clinics where they worked.  

What began in Hungary grew, spreading across nations and cultures and overflowing into the global church, U.S. and global ministries, and Christian colleges. Today, 30 years later, IHS Global® has equipped over 57,995 witnesses for Jesus in 133 countries, 45 of which are restricted or hostile to the Gospel.  

Due to an ever-increasing global demand for equipping witnesses, IHS Global® is expanding its capacity, enabling us to equip 1 million believers in the next 10 years.
