The Power of Removing Spiritual Barriers

Speaking of her HIV patient, she said,

“He started talking about the hatred he has toward Christians. I was reminded of what I had learned through my witness training – permission, sensitivity, spiritual barriers. I asked him why he hates Christians. ‘Their hypocrisy,’ he said.

The Lord gave me the right words. ‘People and churches can fail you, but God never fails us. Christ came to earth to seek and save the lost, the poor, the needy, and people who have HIV. We can come to Him just as we are.’

He cried some more. The stone walls of his heart were broken down. Praise the Lord! He was open to repentance and prayer.”
