Being a Witness Inside the Church

John, a Salt & Light Process™ witness, introduced himself to someone sitting near him at church. He learned the gentleman, Charles, had the job of cleaning the church for the past 20 years, yet he had not been in a worship service since he was a child.

The following Sunday, Charles was in church again. John thought to himself, “I am impressed! God must be at work in his life and that this is my invitation to join Him.” So, John arranged to have breakfast with him. At breakfast, John asked Charles if he would like to read the Bible together, and he readily agreed.

It turns out Charles was going through a difficult emotional time. One day while he was working at the church, the pastor noticed his discouragement and referred him to a church counselor. While working with the counselor, he began attending church regularly.

John and Charles began meeting weekly, getting to know each other and reading the Bible together. Charles started connecting with others at church who were praying for him.

What did John learn? God is at work in people's lives and invites us to join Him!
