Words Matter

But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgement for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned. Matthew 12:36-37 NIV 

Jesus tells me that I will be held accountable for every word I have spoken. Yikes! Over the years, I have used my words both to hurt and to heal. Simply put, my words matter.  

What would happen if every word I spoke was shaped by my Creator? Words of truth and love rather than pride and anger.
