What If I Let Go of Anxiety?

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’…
For your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 6:31–33 NIV

Because life so easily fills with concerns, pressures, and uncertainties, Jesus’ words speak directly into one of the most persistent struggles of my heart — worry.

He does not dismiss my needs or minimize my fears. Instead, He gently reorders my vision. The Father knows. The Father sees. The Father provides. Worry often feels responsible, even necessary, yet Jesus reveals how quickly it can entangle the soul and steal peace. His invitation is not careless living, but confident trust rooted in the character of God.

Trust is not the denial of reality — it is the decision to rest in a greater reality. Lent becomes a sacred space where I can loosen my grip on control and lean into the faithful care of the Father.

What if…I released my anxieties instead of rehearsing them? What if seeking God’s kingdom became my first reflex rather than my last resort? What if peace, not worry, became the quiet atmosphere of my life?

Let's walk this Lenten journey together.
