Together is Better

When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy. Luke 1:57-58 NIV 

My father used to say that “community doubles the joy and halves the sorrow.” Elizabeth experienced this phenomenon during the birth of her son. Joy increased as it was shared.  

What a picture for Christ’s Church! Life is better when shared together.
