The Incarnation

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 NIV

My mother passed away on Christmas Eve several years ago. Ever since, the Incarnation of Christ has taken on new meaning for me. What at times felt more like a static doctrine, has now become a source of confidence for me.

Jesus was the incarnation of God’s love to us, and when He came down made a way for us to be lifted up. My mother believed this. Because of her faith, I am confident that she is home. I will see her again!

This Christmas season, will you join me in celebrating the Incarnation of Christ and the hope that it offers?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
