My Spiritual Goal

So, we make it our goal to please him… 2 Corinthians 5:9 NIV 

Every Saturday, I ask my wife for a “to-do” list. Suddenly, I have a goal for the day. My wife is very pleased when I do what she asks of me. 

In much the same way, Paul tells me that my spiritual goal is to please God. How can I please an eternal God, who lacks nothing? By doing what He asks of me.
