A New Point of View

For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So, from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.  2 Corinthians 5:14-16 NIV

Once I made the commitment to follow Jesus, I became a new person. Yet, I sometimes find myself viewing people the way I used to. What am I missing?

When I forget about the cross of Christ, my love shifts from God and others to myself. However, when compelled by the love of Christ, I can see people the same way God sees them – with mercy and grace.

Will you join me this week in remembering the cross of Christ, that we might see people through the lens of His love?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
