Repentance

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Matthew 3:8 NIV 

Jesus tells me to repent. And yet, I am so infrequently encouraged to do so.  

When I look at my heart and mind, I understand the need to repent. My repentance initiates a series of changes in me that produce fruit. As I turn away from sin, I turn toward God.
