Pure Joy

But I trust in your unfailing love; 
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me. Psalm 13:5-6 NIV 

Joy originates in the heart and mind of God. Surrender to Him brings joy. Not easy for me! So often my heart and soul are controlled by my fears and anxieties. Sometimes I think I can find joy on my own. Yet, my feelings always fade. Trusting in myself is not the way. 

How will I know when I am experiencing God’s joy? My heart will overflow with love, rejoicing, and praise.  

Will you join me in continual surrender to our good God who offers us pure joy?
