Running the Race

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Philippians 3:13-14 NLT 

I have a tendency to dwell on my past mistakes. Sometimes this brings growth. But often, it brings shame. How can I continue forward with a past as sinful as mine?

Paul had a sinful past as well. Yet he pressed on. How? By forgetting the past and looking to Christ. 

Will you join me in praising Him whose grace enables us to press on unhindered by the sins of our past?
