A Conduit Not A Reservoir
Collecting has always been a part of my nature. As a boy, I used my paper route earnings to collect coins and antiques. Books and papers were cherished and accumulated in piles. Throwing things away has always been hard. This has been an annoyance for those who live with me.
What about spiritual blessings? Do I unknowingly collect them too? Have I become a reservoir of God's blessings rather than the conduit of His blessings? Do I receive His love and store it or do I share it? Do I receive His forgiveness and not give it to others? When I hoard God's blessings, peace is not possible.

God carefully explained the principle of being a conduit of God's blessings to Abraham in His covenant with him.
I will make you a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.
