Our Value

At times I enjoy perusing antique shops looking for old books. I've come to realize that the worth of an object is not necessarily its monetary value but rather its meaning to me.

At times throughout my life, I have struggled over my own worthmy appearance, my intellect, my job or my financial situation. When I use these measures to determine my value, disappointment is inevitable.
Yet God values me by a different measure according to who He is, not who I am.

For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel Your Savior;you are precious and honored in my sight
Isaiah 43:3
As image-bearers of God and joint-heirs with Him and because of the great price He paid for us, we can never say we are worthless.
Join me this week in remembering our great value in God’s sight.

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
