Struggles on the Journey – Clarity

My thoughts and ideas have no meaning to others until they find full expression in clearly articulated words – written or spoken.  I can respond to my thoughts but others cannot. I sometimes find it difficult to express those thoughts with a clarity that others can understand – ask my family or my students. Simple clarity is a beautiful thing.

The intent of God’s heart is hidden, yet He desires for me is to know Him  - simple clarity about who He is.  So God with unparalleled lucidity reveals Himself.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us… (John 1:14)

No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side [Jesus], has made him known.  (John 1:18)

God's self-revelation encompassed creation, history and the Bible.  But the greatest clarity is found in His Son, Jesus.  Knowing Jesus and walking with Him, committed to following Him, enhances my understanding of ABBA, God the Father.  What a joy, what an opportunity!

My problem is not God’s clarity of expression. He did that well!  Will you join me taking what He has revealed about Himself and planting those truths deep in our hearts?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
