No Regrets

What do I do with my sorrow? The disappointment, shame and disgrace resulting from losses of relationships, positions or possessions can overwhelm me. Viewing sorrow through the lens of my hopes and desires often leads me to guilt, anger and hopelessness. This is worldly sorrow.

What does godly sorrow look like?

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regrets, but worldly sorrow brings death. (2 Corinthians 7:10 NIV)

I need to explore more deeply what the Apostle Paul meant by godly sorrow because I want this life with no regrets. King David (2 Samuel 12:13) and the Apostle Peter (Luke 22:62) provide great examples of godly sorrow worthy of my study.

Will you join me this week?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
