Founder

Dr. Bob Snyder practiced emergency medicine for 15 years and served as co-chairman of the Emergency Medicine Department at Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville, PA. and served as faculty in Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. In 1996 God called Bob and his wife, Pamela, to Budapest, Hungary. As a result, IHS Global was birthed. The Snyder’s returned to the U.S. in 2003 to oversee this growing ministry. That started with an answer to a call from God has yielded 30,000+ indigenous Christian healthcare workers equipped as witnesses to their patients at the bedsides and clinics where they work, in 110 countries on six continents.

The work continues to multiply and spread as the result of a covenant partnership of international and regional Christian healthcare organizations united around IHS Global’s healthcare witness training.

Bob is the author of the book, Lessons Learned on the Journey, and writes a weekly blog, Lessons on the Journey.
